Amanda Anisimova produced the standout performance. The American needed just 65 minutes to dispatch Laura Siegemund 6-1, 6-3 on Andy Murray Arena, dropping a mere nine points on serve throughout. Her aggressive returning and sharp first serve signaled a player hitting form at the right time. Anisimova reaches the quarter-finals for the second consecutive year and will face compatriot Iva Jovic, who earlier dismantled Alexandra Eala 6-2, 6-2.

The Karolina Pliskova vs Victoria Mboko encounter ended on a sour note. Trailing 6-2 and 3-4 in the second set, the Canadian took a heavy fall on the slippery grass. Unable to continue, Mboko was forced to retire, leaving the court visibly shaken. A stark reminder of the dangers posed by the tour's most unpredictable surface.

Rain also disrupted proceedings. The match between Marie Bouzkova and Donna Vekic was suspended as both players headed toward a first-set tiebreak. Play will resume on Wednesday.

With Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter already through to later rounds, the British crowd will have plenty to cheer for in the second half of the week.
